US manufacturer Key Safety Systems (KSS) has launched its project to build a new production facility in Kičevo, in Macedonia’s western part. The plant is expected to be opened by November 2015, reports local news agency MINA. 28 January 2015

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics L+S, a subsidiary of France-based Saint-Gobain, has announced that it is investing €3m in a new building at its headquarters in Wertheim, Germany. The company is building additional space for production at the German site as well as incorporating a training and technology centre.  20 January 2015
Canadian auto parts supplier ABC Group has unveiled plans to set up a new production facility in Bydgoszcz, in Poland’s north-western part, reports local news agency PAP. The plant is to make various car parts with the use of plastics and other materials. 19 January 2015
