Lego will invest 1bn Danish krone (€134m) and hire more than 100 employees as it looks for sustainable materials to replace ABS used in its bricks, by 2030. The company will create the Lego Sustainable Materials Center at its headquarters in Billund. The effort will include current Lego employees, but the company also expects to recruit more than 100 materials specialists during the coming years.
