Tokyo-based manufacturer of extruding machinery, Japan Steel Works (JSW), and Stork asset integrity management services have formed a partnership. JSW made the deal, it says, to formally set out the most appropriate framework conditions for smooth servicing on JSW extrusion equipment in Europe.

Engel Holding, the Austria-based maker of injection moulding machines and robots, will open a second plant in China — an operation in Changzhou to make injection presses, auxiliary equipment and drive systems, according to Chinese government and press reports. Government reports from China say the factory will be able to make 300 presses a year.

However, Ferromatik Milacron has announced its F-Series and Elektron injection moulding machines will be recognized this year with an iF product design award.
