Equipment maker Wittmann Battenfeld expects sales this year to increase 7%, to €295m, as it said some key markets, including in Europe, were performing better than general economic news might suggest. 23 October 2014
The number seven seems to be special for European plastics machinery makers at the moment — injection press giant Engel Holding said 15 October that sales this year will likely go up 7%, the same increase that rival Wittmann Battenfeld projected a day earlier for its 2014 global sales. 22 October 2014
