Saxe Nordic Plast has taken over Swedish sales of KraussMaffei’s injection moulding machines and related products. The agency, which is part of the Denmark-based Saxe Group, already handles sales and service in Sweden for Netstal, the Swiss injection moulding machine maker owned by KraussMaffei Group.

In a statement, KraussMaffei, based in Germany, said Jan Pettersson, the former managing director of KraussMaffei in Sweden, has left the company. All other employees of KraussMaffei’s Swedish operation have transferred to Saxe Nordic Plast.

"This step means that we are placing our sales and service activities in Sweden in the hands of a successful and trustworthy partner who has great expertise, many years of experience and an excellent reputation throughout Scandinavia," said Hans Ulrich Golz, president of the injection moulding machinery segment in the KraussMaffei Group.

KraussMaffei Group is in the process of integrating the sales and marketing operations of Netstal with those in the KraussMaffei injection moulding business. In October, it said sales operations of the two brands would be merged in the US. But the group has not revealed what its plans are for sales operations in other European countries.
