EuCIA warns against glass fibre dumping actions

According to the association, the Indian government has introduced a provisional 40.86% charge on some Chinese products while Turkey has set a level of 38%. Meanwhile, the EC’s own investigations into pricing of Chinese glass fibre products within its jurisdiction continues.

“As the voice of the European composites industry, EuCIA is strongly opposing any type of protectionist measures,” it said in a statement yesterday.

The association said that its members are already facing supply shortages for some grades and that any anti-dumping measures by the Commission will inevitably have an impact on its members.
